Art

Spacious facilities allow pupils to carry out an interesting range of art activities including painting, drawing, printing and collage. Pupils are engaged in individual and group work and the art room is well equipped for three-dimensional work, e.g. in wood, plaster, clay and textiles.

Art projects are often linked to the study of famous artists and gallery visits are made.

The school grounds and the surrounding area provide very good opportunities for sketching and photography.

InterArt Expo exhibitions 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006 are part of our international programme and is one way for our youngsters to begin to appreciate other cultures and work towards the same goals. Through the art, we have brought children from all over the world together to share their thoughts and feelings.
We are proud to have done so.
