Humanities/History

Year 6 pupils study Ancient Egypt and examine the growth of Ingleton through fieldwork.

Year 7, learn about the Middle Ages and study in particular the Black Death and the Peasants Revolt. They study the Plains Indians and how the white man destroyed their culture.

In Year 8, children examine Britain between 1500-1750 including the effects of The Plague and The Fire of London. They study the Plains Indians and how the white man destroyed their culture..
