Pastoral Care

All staff are actively concerned with pupils' pastoral welfare, but the form teachers carry the main responsibility. They deal with day-to-day problems as they arise as well as having oversight of the work and progress of their form members. Form teachers will probably know their pupils better than anyone in the school and it is to their form teachers that pupils will normally turn to first in all cases of difficulty, though they are free to approach any member of staff. Form teachers are kept informed by colleagues about the progress of their pupils.  Information is also given to heads of year.
