The Curriculum
We have long held the respect and support of the County Inspectorate and advisory officers and OFSTED have consistently complimented us for the quality of learning experience that is being provided. We are, however, most keen that you feel the same way and that your child is achieving regular success and good progress. Please help us in this by taking a frequent interest in your child's progress and talking through with us any concerns that you have. We don't expect to be right all the time and you can help us to be right more often.
New Key Stage 3 Curriculum
At IMS, we take pride in keeping up to date with changes required by
government and County Hall. Recently we have been allowed more freedom
with what we teach and how the curriculum at KS3 is delivered. We have
been working closely with our colleagues at Settle Middle School and
Settle College to redesign certain elements of the curriculum.
