1940's Weekend
|
Once again the school took part in the 1940's weekend. A group of pupils practised dancing with Mrs Ward one lunchtime a week for two months. It was a lively dance and very quick moving. 'Swing, swing, swing, swing; everybody start to
swing' and they did! The pupils performed in the square in Ingleton
before an appreciative and supportive crowd.
If you look closely at the picture on the
right, you'll see the awful conditions and the sheer determination of
pupils to keep going no matter what!
