Involvement in Initiatives

We keep updating our work and projects as new ideas come along and as initiatives are suggested.  For example, this year we have started the process of becoming an eco-school, a difficult task but well-worth pursuing.

We also enter competitions when they arise; we have recently achieved 'The John Muir Award' and two teams have successfully taken part in the regional semi finals of 'Solutions for the Planet' with one team gaining 1st place and therefore taking part in the finals which are to be held in London (July 2009).

We have actively been involved in local community service, Ingleton in Bloom, our own Variety Show and the annual Horticultural Show.  Each year we raise money for Derian House and Children in Need.
